What to Expect

To prepare for your dermal filler appointment, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications or supplements (like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E) for at least 3–7 days beforehand to minimize bruising and swelling.
Come to your appointment with clean skin—no makeup, lotions, or oils. Avoid facial treatments, waxing, or harsh skincare products like retinol for 2–3 days prior. If you’re prone to cold sores and receiving lip filler, let us know in advance so we can recommend preventative care.
We take a personalized approach to every dermal filler treatment, strategically placing each injection to enhance your natural features and restore balanced volume. The procedure typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.
Results from dermal fillers are visible immediately, with continued improvement as any swelling subsides over the next few days. Depending on the product and area treated, results can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.
After your filler treatment, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat (like saunas or hot showers) for 24–48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.
Refrain from touching or massaging the treated areas unless directed by your provider. Mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising is normal and should resolve within a few days.
