    Kiani Wong Kaaua, NP-C

    CO FOUNDER, INJECTOR

Kiani is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over five years of clinical experience in surgical pediatrics and obstetrics. A proud graduate of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa—Go Bows!—she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2016, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018.

Her journey into medical aesthetics began early in her nursing career when she was introduced to the field and quickly fell in love. While working at her local hospital, she immersed herself in hands-on training, shadowing, and advanced seminars led by some of the industry’s top injectors. Her passion for aesthetics and wellness inspired her to further her education, and in 2022, she enrolled full-time at Chamberlain University to become a Nurse Practitioner—allowing her to expand her scope of practice and serve her beloved community on a deeper level.

Kiani is committed to continuing education, always striving to stay at the forefront of evidence-based treatments, the latest techniques, and best practices to ensure safe, natural, and beautiful results. She’s passionate about patient education, empowering individuals to understand their options and enhance their natural beauty with confidence.

At FitLab Hawaii, Kiani’s favorite part of her work is connecting with new people and building lasting, trusting relationships with her patients. She believes in a holistic approach to self-care—recognizing its vital role in both mental and physical wellness.

Outside the treatment room, one of Kiani’s top priorities is her family: her husband, Chayce, and their son, Levi. Owning her own business allows her the flexibility to be present for not just the big moments—but the little ones, too.

  • Madeline Price, NP-C

    CO-FOUNDER, MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Madeline is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the co-founder of FitLab Hawaii, a wellness-forward practice rooted in empowerment, clinical excellence, and personal connection. Her healthcare journey began in the ER, where she developed a strong foundation in acute care, quick decision-making, and patient advocacy. While the fast-paced world of emergency medicine sharpened her clinical skills, it also left her longing for more meaningful, lasting relationships with her patients.

After working for about 7 years in the ER, Madeline earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University in 2020 and immediately began working as a nurse practitioner at a busy community clinic in San Diego. Fluent in Spanish, she found great fulfillment in serving low-income and underserved populations, where she could connect deeply with patients from diverse backgrounds. However, the high-volume, insurance-driven environment left little time for the kind of care she envisioned—care that was thorough, personal, and focused on long-term wellness.

That realization was the spark that led Madeline and Kiani to start FitLab.

What Madeline loves most about FitLab is the team culture. Working alongside a group of talented, compassionate women who lift each other up has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her journey. As the practice has grown, so has its range of offerings. She is especially passionate about innovation and has led the expansion of FitLab’s services to include medical weight loss, regenerative therapies, aesthetic injectables, and most recently, hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), a field that has quickly become one of her clinical focuses.

Now living in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, Madeline provides BHRT and wellness consultations via Telehealth to patients across the islands. Her approach is rooted in listening, educating, and creating individualized plans that truly support her patients’ long-term vitality.

Outside of work, Madeline finds joy in the simple things—spending time with her husband Mason, who inspires her daily with his kindness and zest for life; doting on their two cats, Solly & Rocco, who offer constant reminders to slow down and appreciate the moment. She and Mason love to travel, attend concerts, and get out in nature whenever possible.

For Madeline, FitLab is more than a clinic—it’s a space where passion meets purpose. A place where women can feel supported, inspired, and empowered to take control of their health. And she’s grateful every day to be part of that mission.

Aloha

We are Kiani and Maddy. Two ambitious women who decided we were ready to step away from our hospital careers and create a space for you to feel your best.

Kiani is a Registered Nurse of 5 years with experience in surgical pediatrics and obstetrics. She graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (Go Bows!) with her Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2016 and then went on to graduate with her Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 2018. Shortly after, she was introduced to the medical aesthetics field where I was lucky enough to get some hands on experience and instantly fell in love. While working at our local hospital, she continued to take hands-on courses, shadow, and attend seminars from some of the best injectors in the industry. In 2022, she enrolled in nurse practitioner school full time at Chamberlain University in order to broaden her scope of practice and to serve as a medical provider in her community that she love so much. She prides herself on continuing education in order to keep up with best practices, up-to-date techniques, and to provide safe and quality outcomes. She loves to educate patients on new, evidence based treatments that can enhance their natural beauty as well as continually seek education to refine her skills. She has a passion for health and wellness and knows how important self care is to your mental and physical health.

Maddy is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 7 years of experience in the emergency department in many locations including Oahu, California, Oregon, Texas, Arizona, and NYC. She completed her graduate degree in 2020 during the pandemic and completed a year long residency in primary care in an underserved area of San Diego. She speaks fluent Spanish and enjoyed interpreting in the hospital for her co-workers as well as utilizing it in the San Diego clinic with her patients. She quickly realized that primary care was not her passion and the limited time she had with her patients was a problem. She began studying the benefits of IV vitamin therapy, longevity medicine, and aesthetics. She has a passion for biostimulatory facial treatments that can help the body increase collagen and elastin, creating a natural result. She completed a in depth course in IV Vitamin Therapy and completed many trainings for facial injectables, later starting her practice on the west side of Hawaii’s Big Island in 2022.

Kiani and Maddy were a match made in heaven! They met through a hands on training and started talking about what they wanted to create for a business in Hilo. Kiani had an establish practice as Keala Aesthetics and was killing it already with injectables. Both are so excited to continue to create a safe, inclusive culture that promotes confidence, wellbeing, and health.
